Zoo Dwellers

"How would you like to meet at the Dusit Zoo this week instead of our typical coffee shop?" asked the friend I've known since my days in Denver back in the early 1990s. Dean and I have been meeting almost every other week since I arrived in Bangkok in 2012 to continue our friendship and provide some accountability in our relationships with God.

It is so amazing how God brought us both to Bangkok some 25 years after developing an initial friendship in Colorado... crazy that we could come together again after so many years half way around the world.

So this time we decided to meet at the zoo and had a great time connecting while we walked around visiting all the animal zoo dwellers.

I have never been to the Dusit Zoo in Bangkok and was really impressed with the living conditions for its inhabitants. It was also great to see so many city dwellers, people of all ages, enjoying a relaxing Sunday afternoon in the park.

Needless to say, it was great to spend time with Dean in this new environment rather than our usual coffee shop. I'm sure this will not be the last time we meet here.
